  • emonstrated experience and successful track record in representing employer at CCMA or Bargaining Council A

  • ccountable and responsible to provide effective and credible advice, to the Ford Manufacturing team on labour relations processes and procedures E
  • nsure the sound and effective practical and consistent implementation of labour relations interventions across the Silverton operation B
  • uilding and maintaining of constructive relationships between union and Manufacturing supervision and management A
  • dvise and consult upon and facilitate & implement IR structures & procedures for the day-to-day practical aspects of an IR function E
  • nsure the successful and consistent management, implementation and application of disciplinary and grievance procedures and policies I
  • mplement and maintain a comprehensive IR administration system M
  • aintain and update all labour related policies and procedures, ensuring the enforcement and adherence of these policies and procedures by advising and monitoring management and staff U
  • ndertake comprehensive preparation for and representation of the company at the CCMA and remain conversant with all CCMA rules and processes. D
  • evelop and conduct Industrial Relations related training to Ford Manufacturing management, supervision and team leaders F
  • acilitate the implementation of weekly meetings between management and organized labour F
  • acilitate the implementation of regular engagements between HR Business Partners and organized labour F
  • acilitate and maintain a sound working relationship with unions and union officials M
  • onitor, review, and suggest interventions to optimize collective agreements C
  • onsult and advise management and employees with regard to labour legislation, policies and procedures M
  • onitor internal and external labour relations trends and submit relevant reports F
  • acilitate and conduct negotiations/consultations at national level within the framework of the company’s policy. C
  • onduct all company retrenchment consultation with representative Trade Unions S
